Making Money in Porn in 2020 The Experience

Making Money in Porn 2020

Is there a way of making money in porn in 2020 without getting your tits out?  I’m hoping there is.  At the moment I am more than happy working as a porn video editor in the UK.  However, I’m always on the hunt for another way of earning a few extra $$$ is my spare time.

Making Porn Money Pre 2020

I have had up and down success over the years as an affiliate promoting porn sites.  I was able to earn a good amount of cash promoting Fake Taxi during it’s early days, before it went global.  I bought suttonfaketaxi.com and used it to display banners, trailers and scene descriptions.  The combination of the domain name and the amount of search engine hits I was getting, helped get on of my kids through university.

However, there were legal issues using the FakeTaxi  brand name in the domain name, so I had to remove the site.  I understood the legal aspects and companies wishing to protect their brand and image.

In the Good Ol’ Days

I then used the web site you are reading this blog post on to start advertising other porn sites.  Brazzers, Reality Kings, DigitalPlayground and FAKEhub were all great porn brands to promote.  I had a lot of success with DigitalPlayground.  Their excellent cosplay parody videos were very popular and I was able to tap into that by promoting their outstanding Captain America porn parody video.

I was top of the Google search engine results for Captain America XXX for about 3-4 months.  I’m not exaggerating when the commission I earned helped me raise a deposit on a brand new house, that I am now very happily living in.

At it’s peek, my porn web site blog was pulling in over 30,000 unique visitors per day and I was earning more money in affiliate commission sales than I was for actually editing porn.

Where Did It All Go Wrong?

But all good thing must come to and end.  My search engine traffic tumbled from it’s heavy heights down to less than 1000 unique visitors per day in about 4 weeks.  A change in Googles search algorithm was the only think I could think of that caused the huge amount of traffic loss.  I certainly never changed what I was doing with the site site at all.

But I am continuing to be an affiliate for Adultforce.com – this allows me to continue to promote the worlds best porn sites.  I’m certainly not making the amount of money that I used to, but it’s a little bit to put in a savings account for a rainy day.

To make money in porn today as an affiliate takes more time than it used to.  There is so much competition out there.  A lot of porn webmasters competing for the same search terms and all chasing the dollar in the same way.

I’m looking to recruit blog writers that can help my grow this blog back to it’s former glory.  Maybe you are reading this and think that you could write 300 words about porn on a regular basis and share the affiliate money that this porn blog earns.
